Hi! I’m Rosa
I am a Licensed Social Worker, and I completed my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Pennsylvania and received my bachelor’s degree in Biology-Psychology from Immaculata University.
My experience includes working with clients of all ages in a variety of settings, including a grief support agency, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and within the foster care system. I have training in psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy, and understand individuals from an attachment-based and trauma-informed lens.
My goal is to create a safe environment for clients to explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences, without judgement. I work collaboratively with clients to address a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, interpersonal relationships, and trauma responses.
I believe every person deserves to have their story heard. I am looking forward to assisting you in the journey of self-discovery and healing.
Rosa’s rate per session is $135 with sliding scale spots available. Rosa can offer clients monthly billing statements to be submitted to insurance companies for potential reimbursement. Please contact rosa@acornpsychotherapy.com if you have any questions.
